Millésime 2017. “One of Faiveley’s small cuvées, the 2017 Mercurey Vieilles Vignes is produced from a number of parcels around the appellation that were planted before the 1980s, together amounting to some four hectares. Bursting from the glass with notes of red cherries, candied peel, spices and woodsmoke, it’s medium to fullbodied, satiny and sapid, with melting tannins and lively acids. It saw some 10% new oak.” by William Kelley.

Millésime 2017. “Fine depth of flavor and juicy cherry fruit mark this red. Licorice, plum, spice and stone notes complement the core of ripe cherry. Harmonious enough to enjoy now. Drink now through 2028″. by Bruce Sanderson
