Millésime 2018. “A mild touch of reduction blurs the detail but the fruit is clearly ripe. Otherwise there is a highly seductive mouthfeel to the solidly concentrated middle weight flavors that possess even better depth on the more structured and slightly rustic finale. This is blessed with plenty of dry extract and is very promising for improving over the mid-term. Recommended for value.”

Millésime 2018. “This has a southerly exposure and a very red soil. The grapes are small and the yields are very low. The average age of the vines is 43 years. Dark fruit. Good vibrancy and juiciness. I like the energy and ripe tannins. Punchy.” by Sarah Marsh

Millésime 2018. Tank sample. “Light to mid cherry red. Lifted and bright red fruits like the Framboisière, even more intense aromatically. Smooth but definite tannins completely infused with juicy fruit. So scented on the mid palate. Juicy but no simple, persistent too. It’s not bottled but you really could drink this now. Drink 2020 – 2024.”

Millésime 2017. “A tangy, succulent style, this red exhibits cherry, raspberry, currant, spice and stony mineral aromas and flavors. Elegant and linear, extending on the long, fruit-stained aftertaste. Drink now through 2032.” by Bruce Sanderson.
