Millésime 2018. “Pure and straight and high toned. Ripe redcurrant fruit. Saline and fine texture. Both ripe and more nervy. Energy. Lovely the saline finish. I love this style.” by Sarah Marsh

Millésime 2018. “Aromas of cassis, wild berries, blood orange and coniferous forest floor introduce the 2018 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru, a full-bodied, immensely refined wine that’s built around powdery tannins and a bright spine of acidity. Long and perfumed, this is a superb bottle in the making that will reward bottle age.” by William Kelley.

Millésime 2018. “There is very good freshness to the ripe but cool aromas of red and dark raspberry, forest floor, spice and a whiff of wood. The intensely mineral-driven middle weight plus flavors pack impressive punch and a taut muscularity along with outstanding depth, precision and sneaky good length on the firm, austere and built-to-age finale. This refined effort is terrific and very Latricières in character.”

Millésime 2018. Barrel sample. “Mid crimson. Openly fragrant with sweet, vanilla-laced dark-red fruits. Really intense fruit on the nose. Ripe yet pure and fresh. On the palate, an excellent combinaison of fresh restraint and scented fruits. Dense but elegant. Very good, very long. Great harmony already and so much more to come. Drink 2026 – 2038. “

Millésime 2017. “An extraordinary wine, even for this very special Grand Cru. So mineral and pure with a gigantic concentration of sour cherries. The extremely fine and racy finish lifts off towards the heavens. You could drink it on release, but this has enormous aging potential. Try to wait until 2023.”

Millésime 2017. “The best of the Faiveley grands crus in 2017. Smoky, scented and alluring, with well-handled 40% new wood, this is a precise, elegant, chiselled red with sweet summer pudding flavours and a chalky aftertaste.” Drink 2025 – 2032.

“Le domaine dispose d’un peu plus d’un hectare de ce grand cru situé à l’extrême sud de l’appellation et en haut de coteau. Issu de raisins éraflés, ce 2016 a été élevé à 60% en fûts neufs. Un boisé qui s’exprime par des touches délicatement torréfiées ne masquant pas l’expression de fruits noirs. La bouche apparaît ample, riche, dense et longue, structuré par des tanins diablement veloutés. Un latricières d’une gourmande harmonie.”
