Millésime 2018 “The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes derives from fully 30 different widely distributed parcels and is thus very representative of the commune taken as a whole. Exhibiting aromas of sweet berry fruit, smoked meats, rich soil tones and black truffle, the wine is medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent, with a lively core of fruit, refined tannins and a sapid finish.” by William Kelley.

Millésime 2018 “Once again there is just enough reduction to push the fruit to the background but not so much to completely mask the earth and sauvage nuances. The rich, full-bodied and solidly concentrated flavors possess a suave and caressing mouthfeel while exhibiting better balance on the only mildly rustic finale. This is quite good for its level and worth considering.”

Millésime 2018 “Mid crimson. Peppery, lightly spiced, a hint of stems pershaps. Definitely a herby freshness to the dark-red fruit. Dark and savoury on the palate, dark fruited and elegant. Finest of tannins but all in balance. Succulent, persistent yet somehow weightless.”
